From the noon before I already had a plan to watch it, I set a timer for it :p. I know the show from Raditya Dika, one of the MC there and which is one of my favorite author, tweeted about the show.
After had a super lame course with Mr. Iman, I watched it.
...and really when I watched the show I decided to start following them on twitter. They're so much inspiring for youngster now days. Even it was the first episode of the show, they're already make a mind set over my head that "Youngster can do what they want, in positive way of course!" They can open my mind about Indonesia and stuffs.
The show indeed discuss a lot about the fact about all things related to Indonesia itself. It's not only talking about what's beautiful in Indonesia but also the depravity of Indonesia, as the example from the episode last night: Police. For me, it does not mean when they discuss the problem of the police then they should get a punishment because of it, na-ah, it's the era of democracy! I mean, maybe this is one of creative-youngster-in-Indonesia's way to open the eyes of the police so they feel ashamed and aware of the mistakes that they do so gladly fix themselves into a better direction. Well, as humans we are required to remind one another, rite? Yah, such as like that.
This is a little message for you guys, @radityadika @pandji @rocknal and @jflowrighthere and the crew: keep discussing all things in Indonesia. We not only have to know what is beautiful in Indonesia but also all things of depravity that exist here. Keep telling us the fact (white lies are better than dark truths? so old school!) and your own viewpoints, guys. For a better Indonesia, I'm Ririe, supporting for more attractive and brave talk at @ProvocActive. Keep being rocks, I'm waiting for the others smart, inspiring and cheering talks!
Note: I read on their timeline, next week they'll discuss about gender! Let's watch the show
@ Metro TV, every Thursday night, 22:00. Don't miss it!
